The name Madrid has been well known among skateboarders since someone came up with the idea to put 4 wheels on a piece of wood.
Jerry Madrid successfully turned himself from a surfer into an iconic figure of the skateboard scene. He shaped his surfboards in his parents’ garage in Huntington Beach, California. With his board-shaping knowledge he began to construct skateboards according to his needs because when surfing wasn’t possible, another way to “surf” needed to be found.
Since then Madrid Boards has developed into one of the most renowned, high-quality brands of the surfing and skateboarding industry.
